happy summer!!!

Here is a little recap of what we've been up to this summer...or just the past few days!
OC FAIR!!!
Thanks to this girl, we had free parking and free admission...which opens up the wallet for more of this...
...and this...
....and this...
...and of course this! Matthew's face says it all in this picture. I had these darn coupons that I was trying to use but you had to use them at a specific food place. The coupon said buy a cheesecake stick and get an ice cream free. Matthew was really disappointed when his choice of ice cream was a vanilla, chocolate, or twist cone. Oops! Havin' fun at the big air contest.Collin wanted to ride the ponies so bad. She is officially my girl!
After the biggest hot dogs, fried snickers, cheesecake bar, and ice cream, I was ready to do this...
...............................................
OLD FRIENDS & EARTHQUAKES!
On Tuesday, I was able to meet up with these gals for a little brunch. It got real exciting when I experienced my 1st earthquake. Pretty scary...but I'm glad I was with these earthquake regulars to calm my nerves.

..............................................................
DRESS UP
Collin has been LOVING to dress up like a princess lately. She sings and twirls and I love every second of it!

..................................................................
BEACH
Last Saturday was one of our first Saturdays we had together as a fam in a while.
We just walked around Huntington Beach. I loved these pictures of Matthew and Collin walking through the neighborhood.

.................................................
BONFIRE
Last Friday, Melissa put together a really fun Bonfire at the beach. I wish I was a better photographer here. Guess I was having too much fun!

............................................................

FAMILY

And finally, we were lucky enough to get a visit from my sis and her fam. We had so much fun with their short little stay. I am so sad that she lives so far away. Jane and George are getting so old.
These 2 best cousins wouldn't stop to look at the camera. Nothing better than walking up with cousins and playing on the air mattress!
We've had quite the week...and it just gets busier as I'm off to Arizona in a few days!

Such a fun and busy week!! I love weeks full of busy fun. I like to go to the fair once a year and eat fair food. Those dogs look big but good! Scary on the earthquake. Glad you pulled through. Love the dress up pics of Collin - just like her mama! Fun times!!

Why are you so freakin fun! Slow down party babe. The dress up photos of Collin are so memorable and darling. I loved when my mom would pull out the costume chest and we would all model clothes.

Cali does offer lots of exciting events, to bad AZ is to darn hot right now to enjoy anyhting to do with the so-called outside world, someday! BTW, Megan you look just wonderful....... No wonder Collin is so pretty, look at her parents, really!
