despite what this picture might say, collin did better than expected on her first day with the big kids! i just hope the weeks to come are just as easy! now if i could only get her to cooperate with the camera!
Oh my gosh, she is darling in that dress! I'm so glad she liked nursery. Sorry I never called you back this past weekend! My phone has been acting up the past month and now it won't even turn on! So I didn't listen to your message until after the fact. I'm so sad! But, we leave for Cali this Sat. so I will call you sometime! I want to plan a bon fire night with everyone!
Oh little miss Collin picked the perfect outfit for her first day of nursery. Nursery is such a milestone, I'm serious. There's only one downfall, now you have no excuse but to attend sunday school.
love the dress...dont worry i was nursery leader for like 8 months and a few kids did the same thing th first few sundays but once the parents are gone the get over it...she will be just fine=]
Yes of course Mary Ann made the dress. It's a favorite of mine. SS isn't a problem cuz I'm a singing machine in Primary anyway. Matthew is the one who has no excuses now!
that dress is killer! I wish the Myler could attend the much anticipated nursery.. 3 more months
Im sure your dying to know that my color today was a complete success! My hands are like witch hands with Black all in my nails. Anywho Im so bummed I missed your little face today:(
Glad to hear things went well. Phearson starts to cry the minute sacrament meeting is over and everone starts getting up. Not dealing with the Nursery thing too well! Collin will be running that place in no time.
your collin is the cutest little thing and that dress is seriously the cutest ever. I'd love to see that singing machine too! i'm sure those kids love you and you'll have the most rockinest primary program out there!!! k, I'm getting nervous about our funnest plans! they will happen somehow or another...
HA HA HA HA HA HA!! Please come to my blog often and give me more praise! love it, love it! yes, that was totally me singing, so funny! seriously, back in the day I totally thought I was a singer and that i would be on Broadway... you know when I was in like "Lumberjacks and Weddingbells" at Poston Jr. High.... so now I just record songs for camp where it really doesn't matter how I sound!! and dream.......
You guys are killing me with the "SS" talk! So funny! I had to read above to figure out what SS meant and then I was dying. I openly ditch SS and RS, my excuse is hunger.
She looks absolutely darling!! I remember Gavin's first day of preschool...first without my knowledge he called a cab to come pick him up??? (what 3 year old does that??)...then when we got there all the other kids were tightly hanging on to the parents legs, crying, begging them not to leave. Gav walked in, sat down, turned around and said "Don't cry mama...but is time for you to go" Oh the joys of having a "gifted" child who is smarter and more well-adjusted than you!!
you don't even know how bad i can't wait for november to come! tills is so crazy in church. and it's especially hard when both parker and i teach the last hour. ugh. i'm usually having to find some roamer in the halls to pawn her off on. sad.
7/26/11: "Mom, I want to die." Why? "because if I died I wouldn't have to throw up anywhere and I wouldn't have to pick up all my things." (she has a really hard life)
4/26/11: While laying in bed talking to mom: "Mom, I love you more than Dad, and I just love Dad more than Minnie Mouse...because I don't like black...and that's why I don't want you to ever turn on the lights." ok?
6/30/10: "I just want toast. With NO peanut butter. Just WHITE butter. In THIS bowl. With NO crust. Cut in Triangles." she's really easy going.
5/20/10: As we turned the on the everyday morning show she says, "Mickey Mouse the heck?! What is going on?"
4/14/10: "Mom, Dad is SUPER tired." So I say, "Oh really? Why?" and she says in her most serious *I feel so sorry for him voice*, "Because he made REALLY hard pants today."
12/11/09: "Oh, Nevermind Collin" she came back with "Oh, never YOURS mom"
10/23/09: "Mom? Where are we going again?....WAIT....That rhymes with Miss Hannigan!"
10/18/09: While listening to the primary children sing and share messages about "eternal families" during church, we noticed that Collin was rather interested in what they were saying. Matthew asked, "Collin, what are they talking about?"
To which she replied, "What? Turtle families!"
8/4/09: Collin is really into her birthday right now. She'll constantly remind us that hers is February 5th. Tonight she says..."When's your birthday dad?" he told her June 9th. "No...It's not June Dad, that's silly." "When's your birthday mom?" "December 14th." *Gasp* "That's a BEAUTIFUL name"!
4/1/09: "How old are you Collin?" "2!"
"How old is Mommy?" "3"
"How old is Daddy?" "Um...45"
3/20/09: When getting Collin out of bed I ask, "Collin? Are you so freezing cold?" to which she replies, "no mom. I'm so freezing warm!"
