An update for those who are wondering: my cute niece is doing so well right now. She has been taken off of her ventilator and is being weaned from most of her drugs. She should soon be transferred out of the ICU and into another part of the hospital as she continues to recover. He siblings can't wait to see her! It has been quite the week. We are so blessed to have our Sweet Kailee here with us today.
While we spent most of our time in the PICU at the hospital, we managed to squeeze in some fun time as well.
Kailee's sisters wanted to make her a princess quilt so she would have something bright and cheerful while laying in that darn bed! Here we are constructing the project...

Here is the final outcome! Darling.
We had a lovely dinner at my Dad's house. Here is a good portion of the family. We missed a few as they had other duties to attend to.
Collin was so excited to see Grandpa's horses...until she got up close to them. Matthew was not happy about me forcing her to get her picture with them.

After being traumatized by the horses, I thought a ride on Grandpa's tractor would make things better. Although she looks scared here...she ended up LOVING it!!!
And one of the HAPPIEST moments I had in Arizona, was my BFF Kippy gave birth to her beautiful baby girl Lyndi Sue. All 6 pounds of her cuteness is too much to handle! I sure love that little peanut! I'm so glad she cooperated and came while I was just on the other side of the hospital!

Wow megs I just barely found out about your niece today. Where have I been ha? I will continue to pray for your whole family and your cute adorable little niece. It is amazing how miraculous the priesthood is. It is so good to hear she is doing well. I love you and your family.
Thanks for the update, Meg. I've been thinking about her. I'm so glad she's doing better! I love the princess quilt. I'm sure Marianne whipped it up in no time.
Aw, I was SO glad you could be here! Now I just need to return the favor somehow!!! I need to call you soon. Just managed a little computer time tonight. That blanket turned out adorable, of course. And I am crying from your previous update on Kailee. What a blessing, I believe in miracles. I am still praying for her. I LOVE you!
