Okay, so I decided I was due for a little creativity in my life. It's been too long. First of all, I'm so excited to post Collin's blessing dress as soon as my mom brings it to me next weekend. She made it and I'm IN LOVE with it. Keep your eyes out for it soon...
I thought I needed to display the dress in her room because it's so pretty. I racked my brains trying to figure out where might have cute vintage looking hangers. I came across a fellow blogger's page and she gave me a great idea to use the cute 'dollar spot' baby hangers at Target. I will say that I found the CUTEST vintage paper to cover it at Wal-mart of all places. It was a hundred pack of paper and I didn't even use the cutest paper on these projects. (This story is becoming way too long.) Anyway, here is my finished product.
Not sure why I made the shelf (also from the 'dollar spot'). It doesn't really match anything in my house. Just thought it was kind of fun too!

You are super crafty Meggs, see how great blogging is you are learning new stuff all the time. Can't wait to see the dress.
Who knew you were so crafty! Actually I remember in HS you were always making something! How did you get the paper on the hanger and shelf?
Love the paper. What kind of paper is it? Scrapbook paper? I want to do Sadie's name with something like that. I went dark a couple months ago. You know me. Blonde, dark.....
Hey Megan! i think the last time that we saw eachother was at LA Fashion Week! Thanks for the website info....yeah Ashley and I are going to be new neighbors. Have you gone in Blue Windows on second St? They have some cute baby stuff too and I know that it's right by your house.
Congrats to you too!
take care,

Shut up with your cute stuff. I can't handle it.
I thought about you this morning because I did the "put your hair in a twist/braid when it's not all the way dry for a fun wavy look" and it turned out SO cute.
The twist works way better though, because I tried the braid before church a few weeks ago and you would have thought I blew the dust off of my old crimper... not cute.
Anyway, love you, see you soon....
Ash (even though my screename says "Christian")
so fun. I love little craft projects like that. I actually just did some wood frames with the paper/mod podge for my bedroom last night! Its a great way to take time for yourself while the baby is sleeping! I also saw Collins crib stuff and the pillows you made (my mom showed me the pics you had emailed her). It is all so dang cute!
Check you out Megan! I'd love to see pics of Collins room and bedding and stuff. You've turned out to be quite the craft-ster!
Megan..how is your new job?? I want to hear all about it.. give Collin kisses for me..xoxoxo(that's for Matthew)
Happy Easter! I cannot want to see pictures of Collin in her little dress! I hope the blessing was really nice!!
