Tuxedo Salad Recipe

Abby wanted me to post this recipe so here you go girl! It's a really good salad that was served at my baby shower. Sometimes I'll leave out the chicken and it's still really good.
I'm all about sharing yummy recipes on blogs so there will be more to come...
TUXEDO SALAD
16 oz. Bow Tie Pasta
The Marinade:
1 cup Oil
2/3 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
6 Tablespoons of Sugar
2/3 Cup of Vinegar
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. pepper
*Mix the ingredients together to create the marinade. Cook the pasta the night before and add the cooked pasta to the marinade, so that the pasta can soak up the marinade.

The rest of the ingredients:
10 oz. Baby Spinach (or spring greens works too.)
6 oz. Craisons
2 cans/ 11 oz. Mandarin Oranges
3 chopped up green onions
¼ cup on Sesame Seeds
6 oz Honey Roasted Peanuts
Teriyaki Chicken (You can find this at Costco in the frozen Isle. The night before follow the warming instructions on the bag and then chop it up and leave in the refrigerator so you can add to it the next day.)
2 cans/ 8 oz Sliced Water Chestnuts
Serves about 25 people? Tip: Put the pasta and marinade in a garbage bag the night before. It is easier to add everything later in the bag.

I am so glad you found me! I was just thinking about how obsessed we were about the Suns so long ago. Remember that? Pretty pathetic. Anyways, Collin Mae couldn't be any cuter. And keep the yummy recipes coming.
