The thing I love most about October is of course the excuse to dress up. My great friend Sarah and I decided to throw the bash of the year by hosting an 1984 Prom Party. It was for sure a hit. We had cheesy backdrops for Prom pictures, Tacky Decor, and of course a LIVE BAND which was AWESOME!

Here's the jalapeno popper dip recipe I promised :)
2(8oz) packages of cream cheese
1 cup mayo
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cup grated cheese (I used cheddar/jack mix)
1 cup chopped (jarred) jalapenos.(you can adjust this to taste. I also added some of the juice)
Mix together an put in glass dish. Top with cheese and bread crumbs (optional). Bake in oven for 20min at 350.
Enjoy!!

That looks like such a great time, and oh my goodness you pulled that off after such a crazy week. You're genious, that's all I have to say. Loved all of the costumes, ahh, brings back good/bad memories all in one!!! ha ha.. love the tux shirt too!! whew! so glad we found that one! :)

Why can't I have fun friends like you? Makes me miss my huge, plastered bangs. I was laughing so hard at picture #5 because it looks like Matthew is exiting the dance floor, holding hands with a guy.
That is hilarious. Almost to scary! K so I need your help on granny and gramps. You and kip did it so well and I cant remember all that you guys added. we have an old people party and I want to be good. Help me because than I know it will be!

Oh my Hells a bells, you guys ROCK! You always get to play dressup, and you always look amazing. Megan, maybe you should start a job of dressing people up for partys. Jeez little women, what should my whole darn fam be for Halloween? I want to go all out, since Patrick says this is the one year he will get down, so I am taking advantage.

Oh how I long to have been there with my skin tight hot pink dress and big hair flowing in the wind as I drove my chrysler convertable to the smashing party! Good Times. What? and don't tell me that you crossed over to the dark side and went and got yourself the "word verification" Too funny.
