What a week! One of my favorite gals, Kristen and I share a mutual love for 2 fun things.
Wicked and Walt!
As we were talking one day we decided that she needed to celebrate her 10th visit to Wicked and go out with a bang! And that, we did!
I picked up her and my new friend Evonne from the airport and then picked up Autumn and headed straight to L.A.
We had some time to spare before the show so we dined at Ketchup.
After our palates were pleased and our tummies were satisfied, we were off to the theater!
It really is such a fabulous show. I get chills and tears so many times throughout the performance. It was fun to experience Autumn's first time and Kristen's 10th!
It was my first time seeing this particular cast. They did a pretty great job...and they were fun to talk to after the show.
After a late night, we were up early enough to drop Collin off with my fabulous babysitters and headed to Disneyland of course. First stop...Splash Mountain! 
Note to self...when you aren't feeling great due to heat and junk food...this is not the ride to go on. These girls even rode it twice in a row! I couldn't hang on round 2.
I really have a love/hate for the Grizzly Rapids. I love the nervousness trying to stay dry. For some reason I usually stay dry on this ride and I owe it to my theory of using the seat as the water shield. The other girls just didn't take my advice and got soaked!
I finally figured out the trick to this ride. I am in LOVE with it...so much that we went on it 5 times!!!!
F is for Fun! We really did have such a fabulous couple of days. Thank you to those who helped with Collin. Thank you to Matthew who let me have a fantastic Stay-cation!

meg you look smokin in that little black dress. and that is fun that you met evonne, i really like her. ask her about the time she visit taught me and the toilet... looks like super fun, of course! I want to be at D-land with YOU!!!

Too much fun I tell you! I am so happy I got to go with you and the girls to see Wicked. Kirsten and Evonne were so sweest and of course you were the bestest hostest! Thanks for thinking of me. Sad I couldn't meet up for D-land though. Looks like you guys had a blast!
Dying to see more 80's pics. Did you guys make a pact not to post pics right away. Nobody had pics up yet and it's killing me! Come on guys... lets see what prom had to offer!!!
loved it, loved every moment of it. You are the best and most fun host ever!! Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!! Okay, totally loving the 80's picture too!! Like, totally, for sure, just tell me now that you were the 80's Forever Young Prom King/Queen!! Can't wait for more of that!! Your shoes rock by the way :)

ok - 2 things. 1 - your staycation looked like a blast. and 2 - we are coming in nov and you are meeting us at d-land. we are going at night without kids and you are coming. there are NO exceptions. zero. got it?
Oh you two, I am sad I missed out on this one. Next time. Maybe for Kristen's 20th..(you know she will see it that many times and more)
