This is how Blake felt just as we arrived to the hospital. In her defense, she hadn't had anything to eat in 8 hours. At least she was smiling.

Immediately following the surgery, I was able to snuggle my little doped up sweet heart.

She had quite the IV attachment. Here was phase 1...

Phase 2...
and phase 3...

I was amazed at how happy she was, so soon after she had her operation.
Day 2 & 3 were spent without clothes. We got tired of changing gowns every time she took her meds. Who needs clothes anyway?

by the afternoon of day 2, she was getting cocky and silly. she kept taking off her sock over her iv and would laugh hysterically every time she'd do it.

She was such a cuddle bug the whole time. Although at times I was going stir crazy, I enjoyed spending time with my sweet girl. She was a champ.

So happy to be home with her family.

Yay! We're happy you're home, too. Sounds like everything went even better than expected.
I love that last picture... when they're so sleepy that their tongue kind of slips out. Darling.
So glad everything went well. Loves.
We are so glad to hear she is home and feeling okay! What a trooper!
SO glad it went well! What a little doll!
Ok seriously... that first picture is classic. I bet that is what she wanted to tell her sergeon. I still can't get over how happy she was/is. You would never know that that little girl had major surgery just three days ago! What a great blessing that it all went so smoothly.. including "early discharge".
Hoorray!!
So glad she's home and so are you. I know hospitals are not the most fun place in the world, but I still think babies in hospital gowns are pretty darn cute.

I'm so happy to hear you guys are home and doing well... I hate the hospitals, and to have her be in there, being so young.. Good thing she has special parents to be right by her side. she is way to cute.. Look at that perfect little face...
Yeah! So glad it went well and it is over. Blake seemed to be on her best behavior as a hospital patient. xoxo

That IV in her tiny little hand is so sad looking....but then I laugh when you described her comedian act pulling the sock off and laughing at herself! Glad it's over for you all :)
So glad you're outta there! You are super mom. Blake is lucky she has you to take care of her. And dress her super cute.
