No Vacancy...yet

In the past month, we have had 18 visitors. The first group of five was featured a few posts back. Then came visitors #6 & 7. We had a blast. It was my mom and her sister Barbara. When the two of them get together, they are the giggliest, the spendiest, the most creative, and have oodles of energy. It is non stop with these two crazy ladies and I love every second. We once again did some home improvements that I am thrilled about the outcome. Watching the two of them create as their wheels turn in their heads is a treat in itself. Since we were so busy working, shopping, and playing, we never had time for photos.

Best friends for life....

A few days after we bid the ladies farewell, we were lucky enough to be visited by some of the most darling girls in the west. Visitors #8 through 10 were a treat indeed. Collin felt as though she hit the jackpot when her two pals showed up for several late night slumber parties. Mine and Lisa's slumber parties were full of lots of laughs and fun as well.

The weather was perfect for a day at the beach.

We enjoyed a simple evening of friends, fireworks, and a fabulous Fourth! Although Rachael wasn't a guest of Hotel Hess, it was such a pleasure to get to spend time with her as well.

And what's a vacation without a little girls night out? I'm glad I was able to sneak away for a few to enjoy a treat without the kids.

Visitors #11-18 are currently sleeping on my floor/couch/tents in the backyard. Yep. Tents.

That fun will be shared in the near future. For now...The employees of the Hess Hotel are having a hard time keeping their eyes open.
