December began with very little Christmas Decor. I knew we weren't going to be in town so I thought I'd skip the clutter. Just a few items to get us in the spirit...
What would I do without her. Yes...that would be my mom...the master of all things crafted...including these stockings made to perfection....
Then there was the advent (also made my mom) that may or may not have gone over so well. The "Advent Fairy" may or may not have come only the first 3 days of the month. Thank goodness for small forgiving and forgetting children. We're taking applications for next year's "Advent Fairy".
THEN....
after the decorating...the party began...
My Big Sis came to town...sans her 4 kiddos.
We we're also lucky enough to get a 2 for one with my mom here as well.
I couldn't think of a more fun thing to do WITHOUT the kids then spend the day with my 2 favorite Ladies at DISNEYLAND!
We had all kinds of fun while they were here.
On Sunday...the 2 vacationers skipped out of church a little early and surprised me with "a Christmas Miracle". They knew that I was sad about my lack of Christmas Spirit in the house so they put up my trees and decorated them. I had tears when I walked in. It was such a kind, sweet service.
On top of the tree decor, they threw me a little birthday Celebration for my big 3-0.
I felt so loved.
I'm so blessed to have these funnest, most talented, thoughtful ladies in my life.

Happy Birthday Girl, I agree that an older husband does make you feel younger. I am so jealous of all the cute stuff your madre can make. I also love that red velvet cake from Costco! Hope you have a great 30th year.
