Back to School!

T'was the night before preschool...

Collin has a new favorite hair do. It's "bumpy hair". We do it about 3 nights a week around here. Naturally, for her first day of school, her request was to sleep in braid to create the perfect bumpy hair.

We also gave her a little "back to school night gown" to help her get a good nights rest.

I LOVE the first day of school! I think it is so fun! There's a smell...that I love. It's the smell of a fresh new start!

I think this gal is learning about "the smell" too! She couldn't contain her excitement to go back to Rainbow School this year.

Here was a little funny convo: "Collin, there might be some new kids at school today that will be a little sad because their nervous about Rainbow School. Maybe you could ask them to be your friend and sit by you." To which she replies, "Mom, they aren't allowed to sit by me if their circle is not by my circle!"

She knows the drill. It's like summer never happened!

I love that she loves it.

She had been planning her outfit for weeks...and then at the very last minute she changed her mind. Hence, the wrinkles.

I CANNOT get over how old she looks compared to last year.

So fun to have fun friends at school!!!

This little girl wishes so badly that she could be going to preschool too!!
