Right now my jewelry looks somewhat like this...

I am going crazy with the tangled mess and need some suggestions on how you organize your jewelry. Do you have a box? Do you hang it on something? Or do you just stuff in in a bowl like me and forget what you have? I really appreciate all suggestions.

That's what my jewelry looks like too :( So sad. My Mom has a thing that hangs in her closet with little pockets all over it. You could probably make one easy... I definitely need to!

Tiered tie racks that can hang in your closet work pretty good for necklaces and bracelets. Good luck.
I took a vintage picture frame, about 20x24, spayed it silver, then I took cardboard that fit this size and covered it with black velvet. Then you stick pins in in and hang your jewelry from the pins. Then you can hang it on the wall or lean it on your dresser. My sister made one too and she hung it in her bathroom. It actually makes a pretty cool display if you have cool looking stuff. You could do this with any fabric and funky paint on the frame...M

i have a strip of wood with a ton of little hooks in my closet, it would be REALLY easy to make. i too hate the tangled mess.
I say you just wear every necklace and bracelet you have every day... Then you don't have to worry about storing it.
Or you could have your sister n law who is in the board business make you a board and you could hang your jewelery on that like the rest of the boutiques do who buy them from me! It looks pretty cool! I also can do a board out of chicken wire and you could hang your earings on it. I know Chicken Wire? It looks pretty cool because I spray paint it black.
I love the pic of collin and all of the shoes Mathew has. I remember when you moved to Cali and I think I was shocked then but now I am just blown away! The man seriously has a shoe feddish! Love it!

I have hooks hanging in my closet for my necklaces and my bangle bracelets are hung on a toilet paper roll holder that has one open end. Pottery Barn Teen has some great jewelery organizing stuff that you should check out too. But the frame idea sounds cute too, if you have the space. PS- Tell Sheba I want to be invited to her private Blog.
I have the same thing that sheba mentioned she makes. the one with the chicken wire. mele made it....it's adorable, and it's empty, being that i hardly wear any jewelry. tilley; my 10 month old, has more bling than me....and i like it that way ;)
i want to see a picture of what you come up with. and a picture of whatever that thing is sheba makes, mrs. crafty herself.
I say hang it. I've seen some really cute ones online.
yeah, I go with the tie rack too. Works great, Dave actually came up with that one for me.
