My dearest friend Kippy decided to plan a trip to California the week of my due date. Secretly I was crossing my fingers that she would be in my delivery room as my nurse.
As we know, my baby had another agenda. She figured shopping and lunch with her new BFF Lyndi would be much more fun! So being the bad mom that I am, I took that little negative 2 week old out on a little date.
I know there are arranged marriages, are there such things as arranged best friendships?
I spent a lot of time sitting rather than shopping
and had fun juggling this big sister all at the same time!
It was well worth it!

They are totally going to be Besties. Both so cute. Man I'm sad I missed an outing with Meg & kip. Can't get much better then that.
You said it...juggling. Sometimes you seriously feel like a circus being a mom. Sounds like such a fun weekend. Those two little ladies are two cute together. Love the matching headbands.
By the way...I'm a vanilla too.
Let me tell you-this girl did NOT spend a lot of time sitting!!!! She is a warrior! 2 weeks postpartum and she has it way more together than me-9 weeks-1 child!! Meg I loved every second. And no, they don't have a choice or not if they are bests-it's a done deal.
