Yo Ho the Mistletoe!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Santa even received our temporary change of address notice and found us all the way in AZ. It was so fun to spend so much time with family. Of course it went by way too fast and I was not ready to come home. Here were some of my favorite highlights that happened to be captured by a camera...

Collin could not contain her excitement to get on that airplane to go to "Grandma Mar's". Grandma Mar certainly did NOT disappoint! The funnest Christmas house, pancake making, party throwing, you name it...she had it!
Writing our letter to Santa accompanied by JoJo's and Eggnog.
One of these gals was so excited to go to bed on Christmas Eve.

The other one...just wanted to party!

By about 7:30 am, I decided to wake up my sleeping beauty. Seriously...who sleeps in that late on Christmas?!
And this girl may or may not have played with her gift before she went to bed on Christmas Eve. Whoops!
I'm a little jealous of all the points that Santa scored.
Our crusty little family.
It was so fun to spend so much time with my fam. On Christmas Eve, everyone came over for a little fiesta along with acting out the Nativity as the entertainment. Of course my mom has the most amazing stash of costumes. I had to get my love for dress up from someone.
We were able to have a few little meet up with friends but certainly not enough.
It is so fun that 4 of my dearest friends all had girls within just a few weeks of Blake. It's the next generation and I am so excited to see them all grow up together.

Here is Blake and her new friend Ellis (Kim's newest adorable gal). Blake really liked her!
We were also able to go out to my dad's house a couple times. I love that the kids get so excited to go to Grandpa's house. Collin is sure to wear her boots and her tractor shirt to impress her Grandpa. She had so much fun with all her cousins.
Here she is probably getting into mischief with cute Sophie. At least they look innocent.
Here is my dad's entire flock. Pretty big group. It really was a Christmas Miracle that we were all in one place at the same time.
We also had a fun family dance party. Yep we sure did. I wish I had pictures but who wants to get their camera out when there's dancing going on? Maybe I'll have to share some video footage at a later post.
Overall, it was a fantastic week. I wish I could have had more time to visit with people but I am grateful for the priceless memories that were made.

Sounds like the best Christmas ever. I love that Blake got to enjoy her gift Christmas eve...too cute. Your family is so adorable.
I'm sick to my stomach looking at that picture of the Germaines house. I've been playing phone tag with Molly since it happened but Jodi has given me updates. It still doesn't seem real to me.

That Marianne is quite the hostess! I was sad when Abbs called me to go over to see you and I couldn't go! Blake is seriously squeezeable! I love her round head. Her and Collin's Christmas pj's are so cute. SO sad about the Germaine's house.

Well Merry Christmas! I love the pj's! I'm a little jealous that your daughter sleeps that late, no one in our fam sleeps until 6:30! Adam was so excited to see Matthew but don't worry when I asked why Matthew was down did he know? Nope!
He always reminds me that guys don't ask questions about that kinda stuff??????? Anyway I hope Collin has a wonderful B-day, love all the pics.
